Qualifications

After completing her BA in Education in 2007, Kim spent 15 months working as a support worker for Innovate Trust. She then came back into education after being awarded funding from the ESRC to complete the MSc in Social Science Research Methods and a PhD. Kim is now in the final year of her PhD. She also takes seminars with first year undergraduates in the Introduction to the Psychology of Development and Learning module.

Dyslexic Identities: A study into the social construction of dyslexia and identity.

The thesis will explore how adults who identify as dyslexic construct their identities and their difficulties.
