Qualifications

I graduated in Social Sciences in 2005 and have held a Masters in Sociology since 2007. Both degrees were granted by the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil.

In 2007 and 2008, I worked as an assistant lecturer in two universities in Brazil: Federal University of Minas Gerais and Faculdade Pitágoras Betim.

In 2008 I moved to Cardiff where I became a PhD student at Cardiff University.

Research Interests

My research interests are in the social studies of science. I am particularly interested in the following topics: sociology of expertise, sociology of climate-change science, different theoretical approaches in the social studies of science, and policymaking related to science and technology.
