  • With Paul Anderson (Warwick, Sociology), March - November 2006, advising Campaign against the Pressure Reduction Installation (CAPRI), Corse/Tirley, Gloucestershire, including a submission to Planning Enquiry on Gas Pressure Reduction Station (PRI), Corse, P0624/06/FUL (Environmental law, risk assessment, ethics of risk, impact of uncertainty on community resilience).
  • With Paul Anderson, February - May 2009, for Harrison Grant Solicitors, contributing advice to the drafting of an application for Judicial Review of the UK Government’s decision to support expansion of Heathrow Airport (Ethics of technological risk, environmental law).
  • Written evidence to House of Lords Select Committee on Nanotechnologies and Food, 9 June 2009 (ethics of decision making under uncertainty, participatory technology assessment).

Chris is also an External Associate of the ESRC Centre for Business Relationships, Accountability, Sustainability and Society (BRASS) at Cardiff University.
