Muslims in Britain Research Network Meeting

The Muslims in Britain Research Network met in Cardiff University on Thursday 8th January 2009 at Cardiff (hosted by the Islam-UK Centre).

The Muslims in Britain Research Network (abbreviated to MBRN) was established to encourage and promote the study of Muslims and Islam in Britain. It brings together academics, professionals, teachers, researchers, students, journalists and others with an interest in the research of Muslims in the UK.

The meetings allow a chance for individuals to share and update on each on research completed within the field of Islam and Muslims in Britain. Januarys focused on the theme of 'Imams in the United Kingdom'. Professor Ron Geaves (Chair of the MBRN)  gave the keynote presentation.
