Cardiff 125 Celebrations: Lecture on Tuesday 19th May

Empire, Gender and Obsession: The world-wide political thought of Philip Francis.

This event is hosted by the Cardiff School of History and Archaeology. The lecture will take place in the Julian Hodge Lecture Theatre at 6pm and will be preceded by a Wine Reception to be held in the Foyer of the Julian Hodge Builiding at 5.15pm.
Professor Colley is a historian of international eminence and an authority on the British Empire and on the forging of British national identity in the eighteenth century. Her books include:
