School Graduation Celebrations
Starts: 16 July 2014
Be part of the School Celebration on 16 July 2014
The Class of 2013 celebrate at the School's pre-graduation party at Aberdare Hall. Congratulations!
Graduands and their families and friends are invited to join the staff of the School at Aberdare Hall for this special event marking the success of the class of 2014. While honouring this year’s achievements, the School will also recognise excellence in its annual prize-giving ceremony.
Each year degree classification and prizes are finalised at the final exam board meetings. Undergraduate degree classification and prize-winners’ names appear on final year notice boards at 4.30pm on the same day. For 2014 the date will be Wednesday 25th June.
Be part of your Class & subject photos

These will be shared on the School’s Facebook page after the event. To see the pictures and catch all our news ‘like’ us now: Facebook/CardiffShare
Free event for graduands
This year this event is free to graduands. Friends and family are very welcome to join us at a nominal charge of £9/person [High Tea includes a range of savoury options, strawberries and cream and soft drink]. Graduands are emailed a personal invitation in early May including online booking details, enabling them to book for themselves and their guests*. The deadline for booking and payment is 8 July.
*due to venue capacity, a maximum of two guests per graduand may attend
To help reduce our impact on the environment and maximise resources, this is a ticket-less event. All those who book will be sent an email confirmation by the beginning of July.
Finding Aberdare Hall & parking
Aberdare Hall is on Corbett Road, just around the corner from our building. [For Sat Nav: CF10 3UP]. For a full downloadable map see http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/locations/maps.
Parking is available around Park Place and near the museum (payable at street meters) and NCP and other sites are clearly marked on entry to the city. St David’s Hall and the University are at the heart of the city centre, with plenty of parking including at large shopping centres. Unfortunately we cannot offer parking, but those with disabilities should get in touch with us to arrange free parking close to our building.
