The Iron Age Research Student Seminar (IARSS) is designed to provide a relaxed environment for postgraduate students to present and discuss new research on the Late Bronze Age and Iron Age of Britain, Ireland and north-west Europe. Academics, professionals and undergraduates are invited to attend and give support and comments.
The papers will explore a range of themes within the following sessions:
- Remains of the day: bodies, objects and things
- Landscapes of space, networks of place
Papers are scheduled to be presented over a period of two days. The conference format will entail 20 minute papers followed by discussions chaired by leading specialists in this field;

An evening reception will take place on the 18th May in the reconstructed Iron Age Village at the National Museum of Wales, St Fagans. Transport to the venue and traditional ales and mead are included in the registration fee.

Paper titles and abstracts are invited via email.
Poster presentations are welcomed from those unable to attend or speak on the day.
