All students take the two first-year Ancient History modules:

Years 2 & 3

In the second and third years, joint honours students take 120 credits of modules in each year, 60 from Ancient History and 60 from their other subject. They can choose from the full range of options listed at Ancient History undergraduate modules.

Teaching in Ancient History is through lectures, small-group seminars and individual tutorials, and assessment is by a combination of essays, oral presentations, class tests and exams.
