Coming together for Ely-Caerau
8th November 2012
Cardiff University together with Communities First and Futurespace are organising a community event to find out about experiences of living in Ely-Caerau.
Involving people in what really matters to them in the development of their local area is vital for communities to become stronger and more sustainable. The two hour sessions will bring members of the local community together in a friendly environment to discuss and share knowledge and experience of living in Ely-Caerau.
We want to use these discussions to plan community based research together. We want this research to be useful to local residents, groups and organisations, so we need your ideas to make this happen!
The sessions will run on Thursday, November 8th, 2012 at the Dusty Forge Centre, Cowbridge Road West, Ely, Cardiff.
Please note: Due to the nature of this event, places are currently only being offered to residents of Ely-Caerau. However, if you are not a resident of Ely-Caerau but are still interested in this event (including any outputs from the event) please contact the Sustainable Places Research Institute.
This event is being run as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science.
