The Third Cardiff Annual Summer School in Brain Disorder Research 4th - 7th July 2011

The School is aimed at clinical trainees (FY1 - ST2) and non-clinical scientists (MSc, PhD, Post Doc) who are interested in moving into the field of Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics or those who want an introduction to cutting edge research in brain diseases.

A variety of paradigms will be introduced including epidemiology, neuroimaging, molecular biology and genetics.

Via lectures, interactive sessions and informal discussion, participants will gain an appreciation of a range of exciting approaches to the study of brain disorders and the opportunities available to pursue a career in research.

Participation is limited to 30 attendees and places will be allocated competitively.

If you are successfully awarded a place, there will be a fee of £150 to attend the School.  The fee is heavily subsidised by generous funding from the MRC and WORD.
