NMH RI "Distinguished Research fellowship

This fellowship will be awarded to an outstanding early-stage career researcher for up to 3 years to support their development into a world-class academic leader in their field within the Neuroscience and Mental Health Research arena.

You will be capable of developing your own fundable neuroscience research programme, ideally in one of the following key areas: cognitive neuroscience, brain imaging, stem cell biology, bioinformatics/statistics, animal models, or gene-environment interplay. However, individuals proposing an excellent programme in any branch of science will be  considered with preference being given to those whose work promises to enhance understanding of the basic mechanisms underlying major psychiatric or neurodevelopmental disorders or lead to improved diagnosis or classification.
