Postgraduate Cardiff Neuroscience Society
We plan to have socials on a regular basis on the first Wednesday of every month. We also plan to do things other than just going to the pub such as:
- Speed- Neuro-dating
- Neuroscience fancy dress (dress up as your favourite neuron!)
- Pub quiz or our own neuroscience quiz
- BBQ in the park
- Celebrate World beer evening or do a pub crawl
- Attend organised walks or go on our own walk
- Treasure hunt
- Water fight
- A variety of sports: croquet, rounders, Frisbee, five-a-side football, badminton and dodgeball
Note that outdoor and sporting events don’t necessarily need to be organised for a specific date, as they are weather-permitting. As a result, an email will be sent on an ad-hoc basis when the weather is fine.

All postgraduate students or postdocs interested in our society are welcome. Please come along to meet new and old postgrads alike who are interested in the field of neuroscience!

A Neuroscience-themed Charity Pub Quiz
Thursday 28th October
Graduate Centre, Student Union
Entry from 6:30pm. Quiz starts 7:30pm
Tickets £3 (inc. pizza, wine and nibbles).
All welcome - staff and students - no matter what your academic background. Maximum team size of five. All proceeds to charity. Winners will get two free bottles of wine and to choose the charity to which the proceeds go to (from a list of neuroscience charities provided by the society).
