10-12 October 2011: Rediscovering Pluripotency
4th April 2011

The purpose of this meeting is to bring together a number of researchers who have made key contributions over the past half century to the pluripotent stem cell field, starting with the experimental studies of teratocarcinomas, to revisit and review ideas that supported development of the area in the past and to assess whether they have relevance for current studies. We are pleased that the meeting boasts an extremely impressive speaker line-up, which should make for an interesting and lively discussion. To facilitate and encourage that discussion we are fortunate to have secured an interesting venue for the meeting in the National Museum of Cardiff, close to the University. This Abcam event will be supported by The European Cancer Stem Cell Research Institute at Cardiff University and together an active social programme on the Monday and Tuesday evenings for all participants is planned.
