ARCCA – Raven Supercomputing Cluster

Our supercomputer is one of the most powerful in the UK.

ARCCA (Advanced Research Computing at Cardiff) is a division within Cardiff University which provides, co-ordinates, supports and develops high-end research computing services for the University and its partners, particularly through the Raven supercomputing cluster.

Comprising of two subsystems - the High Throughput Computing Cluster and Parallel MPI Cluster - Raven is configured with a mix of Intel Westmere and Sandy Bridge Xeon processor technologies.
