Undergraduate Admissions Procedures

Applying for Full-time Programmes of Study (UCAS)

Except for the Programmes listed below, applications for all full-time undergraduate Programmes of Study must be made through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service ( UCAS ).

The UCAS institution code for Cardiff is C15.

Applying for Full-time Programmes of Study (Direct Entry)

In the case of the following Programmes, applications are made direct to the University:-

International Foundation Programme
Bachelor of Midwifery (18 month programme)
Bachelor of Nursing/Diploma in Nursing (1 year programme )
BSc(Hons) Clinical Practice
BSc(Hons) Community Health Studies

Applying for Part-time Programmes of Study

Although the majority of undergraduate students at Cardiff University pursue their studies on a full-time basis, a limited number of Programmes also admit part-time students. The list of Programmes available on a part-time basis appears on page 126 of the University's Undergraduate Prospectus.

Applications for part-time, undergraduate study should be made direct to the University, and not through UCAS.
