Occasional/Non-Degree Admissions
Academic Schools at Cardiff University offer opportunities to a wide range of individuals from the UK and the rest of the world, for study at undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research level which does not lead to the award of a formal qualification by the University.
Individuals studying at Cardiff on this basis, and for limited periods of time, are classed as 'Occasional' or 'Non-Degree' students.
Occasional Students
Normally attend only limited aspects of a 'regular' Programme of study, and are charged fees at an hourly rate.
Non-Degree Students
Normally attend for at least one Term/Semester and are charged fees at the annual rate, pro rata.
