Greek (Ancient, Hellenistic)

Only available to BA students

Ancient (Hellenistic) Greek (40 credits), in Year One, offers a basic introduction to the language of the New Testament, together with the study of a set text. Students are required to take both double modules (RT3107 and RT3108). Teaching is through language classes and exercises. All students are welcome. No previous language learning or experience is required or expected. Languages are windows to culture.
Students are normally only allowed to take one beginner's language in any year.
An A-level in Religious Studies is NOT required. Mature Students are welcome.
