Communication is available as an additional subject to all First Year Humanities and Social Studies students, and no special previous qualifications are required. However, timetable restrictions apply, and therefore the subject cannot be taken together with French or Religious Studies. Communication provides an excellent complement to most humanities and social science disciplines, including Sociology, Cultural Criticism, Philosophy and Education.
This subject is compulsory (together with Language) for the degrees in English Language and English Language and Communication.
All students are required to take both double (20 credit) modules.
