The Royal Academy of Engineering Summer Soirée and Exhibition
Cardiff University was honoured to host the Academy’s Summer Soirée and Exhibition, welcoming guests to experience Cardiff University’s innovative approach and celebrate the successes achieved through partnership with industry. The event was held on 24th May 2012 in City Hall.
Engineering a better society
The Cardiff University exhibition highlighted the crucial role of engineers in developing solutions to a diverse range of environmental, social, health and economic challenges. With the exhibitions presenting examples of Cardiff achievements across five key themes: ; Energy; Energy and Environment; Environment and Healthy Living.
Cardiff approaches research as a collaborative and innovative enterprise, involving amongst others, industrial partners, research organisations and other universities. We were delighted partner universities Bath, Bristol, Exeter and Swansea also featured at the exhibit.
