Postgraduate Summer Challenge: One Challenge, 36 Hours, 100 Postgraduates, One Goal.
The Postgraduate Summer Challenge is an event where multidisciplinary postgraduate teams utilise their academic knowledge to produce commercial development for the Cardiff area.
Participants have 36 hours to create a project plan in constantly evolving circumstances whilst managing mini-challenges that will develop practical skills in team working and innovation creation.

Spark Ideas Challenge: 6 Easy Steps, 10 Questions, £5000 available
Spark2012 is the annual Ideas Competition for Cardiff University Students. With overall prize money of £5000 available, Spark2012 will give seven Cardiff University students financial support to develop their ideas. Spark is part of the business start up support available through Student Enterprise which includes business workshops and individual support.

Summer Bursaries: Student Enterprise bursaries of up to £1000 each are supported by Santander and are available to fund enterprising students to develop their ideas over the summer vacation (July-September). Applications are sought from current full time or part time undergraduate or postgraduate students of Cardiff University from any discipline and you can apply as an individual or a team. All applicants must be returning to continue to study a Cardiff University degree course for the 2012/13 academic year.
