Ignite is an intensive 5 day programme to designed to take you on a journey towards becoming enterprising in your chosen career; be this a business start-up, a social enterprise, the voluntary sector or within an established organisation.

Get into the team spirit and show how innovative you can be!
Enter a team into the Innovation Challenge to win BIG CASH PRIZES for your Students' Union club or society. Each participating team is given an everyday object and asked to create as much ‘value’ from it as possible e.g. artistically, financially or by having a social/community value. The results are submitted in the format of a short 3 minute video and the winners are selected by a panel of prominent judges.

Personal Development Business and Enterprise Certificate
Develop your practical business and enterprise skills by attending business workshops including know your markets and competitors, develop a marketing strategy and financial planning. Attend at least 6 workshops to achieve the Personal Development Certificate. Workshops can be attended at any time whilst you are at University to count towards the certificate.

I-solve brings together inter-disciplinary teams of post graduate students who use their ingenuity and innovation skills to research and identify commercial opportunities for breakthrough technologies being developed in Cardiff University. They will gather information and carry out analysis in order to make their best recommendations for taking the technology to market. I-solve is for everyone, not just for technology or business students, it’s about bringing together different skill sets to find the best solution for real-life projects.
