Bursary & Support
Do you need help to develop an idea for a business or social enterprise?
£1000 Summertime Support
Cardiff University Enterprise Bursaries, supported by Santander Universities, provide the opportunity for three students each year to gain a financial boost to their new business or social enterprise. This year’s total scholarship fund of £3000 will be distributed at the end of the academic year (June 2011). The aim is to enable students to develop themselves and/or their idea over the summer vacation.
The bursaries will be awarded to students who have an entrepreneurial attitude and can demonstrate how they will evaluate and develop themselves or their idea for a business or social enterprise. The award of the bursary is not dependant on the ultimate success of the venture.
The application process consists of a 1500 word written application and a three minute video. All written and video applications will collectively be used by the Approval Panel to make a decision on the three £1000 Enterprise Bursary payments.
This fund is only available to students returning to study during the 2011/12 academic year.
More information is available within the Terms and Conditions. Applications must be returned by 9am on Monday 23rd May 2011 (extended deadline).
