NHS Research Passports

The NHS Research Passport system has been designed by the NHS to simplify administrative procedures when issuing honorary research contracts to researchers with no contractual arrangements with the NHS, and who carry out research in the NHS that affects patients care. The Research Passport means just one set of checks is needed on a researcher and the completed Research Passport can be presented to all relevant NHS organisations.

Below is a flow process for Cardiff University researchers who are setting up the NHS Research Passport via Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust.
