If you remain dissatisfied with the formal complaint decision you may be able to request a review of the decision by a reviewer under the review stage of the student complaint procedure.
Requesting a review
Please read the guidance note at the front of the review request form and the student complaint procedure (section 5) before submitting a review request.
The review stage will not normally include a reconsideration of the issues raised, or a further investigation. The grounds for a review request are:
- the procedures were not followed correctly at the formal stage
- the decision and/or remedy were unreasonable
- there is new material evidence which you were unable, for valid reasons, to provide at the formal stage.

We accept review requests (your form and evidence) in either electronic or hard copy format, but it is important that you only submit your review request once.

If, having fully completed the University’s internal procedures you remain dissatisfied with the outcome of your complaint, there may be provision for an external review of your complaint by the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education (OIA).
