We have two dedicated psychology facilities in the Cathays area of the city.

Tower Building

Tower Building is our main psychology hub and is located right in the centre of the Cathays Park campus. It is close to the Students' Union, libraries, support services and several university residences.

CUBRIC is our award-winning brain scanning facility and is located on Maindy Road in Cardiff.

Travel

Rail and coach

Tower Building is 1-2 minutes on foot from Cathays rail station. Visit the National Rail Journey Planner website for further information. Cardiff is also served by regular coach services from towns and cities across the UK. Visit National Express or Megabus for further information.

Local buses

The No 95 service leaves Cardiff Central for the Cathays campus regularly throughout the day and further details are available on the Cardiff Bus website.

Cycling and walking

We have a dedicated, covered cycle storage at the back of the Tower Building and additional storage at the front and side of the building. There are shower facilities on the 4th floor. There is also a drying room on the 7th floor for coats and umbrellas.
