An additional 72 full RCUK-rate PhD scholarships are being offered by the University over the next two years as part of a new £4M investment to coincide with the inauguration of Professor Sir Martin Evans (Nobel Prize for Medicine 2007) as Cardiff’s new President.
The Scholarships will be of interest to the highest quality candidates – those eligible for funding as President Scholars will have a first-class honours degree, or a 2.1 plus a postgraduate Masters degree at distinction level (or their equivalents).
