Less than two hours from London, Cardiff is Europe’s newest and fastest growing capital city. Located in South Wales on the Bristol Channel, Cardiff is easily and quickly accessible from most major towns and cities.

Cardiff is a stimulating, cosmopolitan and compact city of around 350,000 people. In recent years major developments have attracted a growing business community, including an increasing number of blue-chip firms and international company headquarters.

We are located at the northern end of the University campus, within walking distance of the City Centre. The School is easily reachable by rail, road, bus or air.

By rail

The Cardiff-London InterCity service, from London Paddington, runs seventeen times a day with a journey time of less than two hours. Frequent regional & inter-city trains connect Cardiff with:

  • Bristol (50mins)
  • Birmingham (2hrs)
  • London (2 hrs)
  • Southampton (2hrs 40mins)
  • Manchester (3hrs 20mins)
  • Liverpool (3hrs 45mins)

The School is a 25 minute walk from Cardiff Central station. Alternatively local trains run frequently from Cardiff Central to Cathays station, a 2 minute walk from the School.

By road

Cardiff is served by the M4 and is easily accessible from all parts of the UK.

By air

Cardiff (Wales) International Airport is 11 miles from the city centre and connects Cardiff to many European cities and has an increasing number of international flights.

Frequently buses & trains connect the airport with the city centre – the train goes direct to Cathays station, a 2 minute walk from the School.

National Express and Greyhound operate direct coach services to Cardiff from Heathrow, Gatwick and Bristol airports.
