Have you thought about …?
- What your Project Aims to Achieve
- What your Project Depends Upon
- The Risks Involved
The Concept Brief can be used during Stage 1 of the Project Management Framework. The Project Initiator can use this form to outline his/her idea, what the overall aim is, whether other internal or external parties will need to be involved in the project should it go ahead, how the idea fits in with the University’s strategy, and the risks involved in the project should it go ahead.
This brief can then be supplied to the person/people who are able to make the decision that the idea is good in principle and a full business case can be produced. Once this has been done information from the Concept Brief can be used as the basis of the Business Case.
