Anti-cancer Protides
Introduction
The project will centre on the design, synthesis and evaluation of some phosphoramidate prodrugs, ProTides, of anti-cancer interest.
Aims of Project
Compounds will be designed and synthesised in the School of pharmacy and evaluated for anti-cancer action by colleagues at Tenovus, the School of Medicine, and other labs outside Cardiff.
Pancreatic cancer is the early focus, but will will test compounds against a range of solid tumours and leukaemias.
