Evaluation of the stability and bioavailability of anti-microbial peptides
Introduction
Mark Gumbleton with Research Fellow Dr Chris Morris are working with dstl (Defence Science and Technology Laboratory) to investigate the biodistribution of anti-microbial peptides within the lung airways. The work is anticipated to be the first of many future collaborations.
Dr Chris Morris is a qualified pharmacist and gaining his Ph.D. working in the area of pulmonary drug delivery. Previous appointments include an EPSRC fellowship in Nanomedicines. In 2006 Dr Morris' research has been recognised across Europe wit ha prize award at the Roche Symposium for Leading Scientists of the Next Decade
