Personal Chair awarded to Dr. Glyn Taylor

It has just been announced that Cardiff  University has conferred the title Professor of Drug Delivery on Dr Glyn Taylor.

The award of a personal chair, following the recommendations of independent external assessors, recognises Glyn's outstanding contributions to the University's wider mission through innovation and engagement.

Professor Gary Baxter, Head of the Welsh School of Pharmacy, welcome this announcement and said: "This is a well-deserved personal recognition for Glyn's work in the University over a sustained period and it brings great credit to the School. On behalf of the entire School, I offer our warmest congratulations to Glyn."

Glyn Taylor joined the Welsh School of Pharmacy in 1980.  He is a Co-Founder & Director of Cardiff Scintigraphics.  More recently he has become School's Director of Collaborative Provision and takes the academic lead in the development of the collaborative degree programme with Taylor's University College in Malaysia.
