Dr Delyth James - BPharm MSc PhD MRPharmS
Dr Delyth James graduated from the University of Bath with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) degree in 1988.
After completing hospital pre-registration training in the Oxford Region she joined the residency team at Charing Cross Hospital who sponsored her for the full-time MSc in Clinical Pharmacy at the School of Pharmacy, London. After practicing as a hospital pharmacist for 5 years (with special interest in renal medicine and education & training) she worked in a military hospital in Saudi Arabia for 1 year. On return to the UK Delyth registered for a PhD in Health Psychology at the University of Brighton (1994) and subsequently joined the academic staff of the School of Pharmacy as a Senior Lecturer (1998). In 2001,
Delyth joined the South East, South Coast Pharmacy Education & Training team then moved to a post in Brighton & Hove Primary Care Trust (PCT) in 2003, whilst maintaining 1-day a week at the University of Brighton. Dr James departed Brighton in 2005 and is now a member of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences academic staff.
