Research Interests

I am interested in the extended role of the diagnostic radiographer, and health and safety issues affecting clinical staff.

Research

I belong to a group of staff who are interested in researching the area of role extension for radiographers and the associated issues. I have undertaken a systematic review as part of my MSc programme investigating the efficiency of radionuclides at detecting lower limb prosthesis infection.

Biography

2007 Awarded an MSc in Nuclear Medicine.

2006 Commenced the PCUTL programme run by Cardiff University.

2005 Moved to Cardiff University as a lecturer in diagnostic radiography.

2003 Superintendent Radiographer for Nuclear Medicine at Llandough hospital (Cardiff and Vale NHS trust), 2004 - I commenced an MSc programme in Nuclear Medicine Technology at the University of the West of England, Bristol.

1994 Qualified as a state registered radiographer from School of Healthcare Studies, Cardiff University and presented the findings of my undergraduate dissertation at a professional study day held at the University Hospital of Wales.
