My research interests lie in the fields of health psychology and public health. Within this, I am interested in the social determinants of health, well-being and health behaviours and evaluation of interventions to improve or modify these. I have a particular interest in physical activity that is conducted in outdoor natural environments (sometimes referred to as 'green exercise'). In my research I primarily use a range of psychosocial and physiological measures of health and well-being, and employ both quantitative and qualitative research techniques and analysis.
