My research interests lie in the fields of Translation Didactics, Legal Translation, Second Language Acquisition and Teaching Spanish as a Second Language.

My master's thesis focuses on the sworn translation of Nigerian legal documents into Spanish and explores the cultural and liguistic challenges involved in the translation process. At present I am working on the use of audiovisual material in the Spanish as a Second Language classroom, particularily the use of TV Series in the translation classes.
