Responsibilities

Dr Puxi Huang is the post-doctoral research assistant in the European Commission funded Horizon 2020 Plug-n-Harvest project (2017-2021) at Cardiff University. He was awarded his MSc of environmental design and PhD of civil engineering at the University of Bath.

Dr Huang worked as a project manager of the fire engineering in China Academy of Building Research (CABR) before coming to the UK. During his MSc, he worked as an environmental design engineer in ZEDfactory ltd. Dr Huang was also invited as an external lecturer in Bath College and a young researcher supervisor in Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institute (BRLSI) when he was pursuing his PhD in Bath.

Dr Huang’s research interest includes multi-physics coupling, dynamic heat and mass transfer, building energy simulation and experiment. COMSOL Multi-physics, Openstudio, Energy Plus, IES VE and Matlab are often utilised in his research.

Dr Puxi Huang is the reviewer of Construction and Building Materials, Wood Science and Technology and Biodiversity Management and Forestry.
