Overview

I am a research associate with a background in economics, health economics and public health. My research interests include improving supportive and palliative care; conducting systematic reviews and developing and evaluating behavioural interventions with a focus on reducing socioeconomic inequalities.

My current research activities involve understanding public attitudes towards death and dying, conducting a scoping review to support developing a cancer research strategy in Wales and identifying psychosocial barriers to physical activity uptake in patients with high grade glioma. I am also involved in Medic Year 1 tutoring and supervising a Medic Year 3 SSC student.

I have experience in working with minority ethnic communities in England and Wales. I had an extensive experience of conducting large scale health care service development related projects and research while working in the Diabetic Association of Bangladesh.
