Research student, School of Medicine
I started my PhD at CCMRC in October 2015. I graduated from the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki (Greece), with a BSc in Pharmacy and an MSc in Medicinal Chemistry. My previous research interests included oxidative stress, atherosclerosis and anti-inflammatory molecules. My current project focuses on ‘CO-releasing molecules as synergistic agents for anti-VEGF therapy in triple negative breast cancer’. I am very excited to have the opportunity to learn new techniques, such as cell culture and cytotoxicity assays, and also join this enthusiastic and vivid team. I hope this will help me improve my skills and apply them in cancer research, in order to contribute to this field.
