This contemporary module aims to set business within the broader context of politics and society and assesses the relationship between business and a number of related environments.

Topics covered include the political environment, the social environment, the public environment, the ecological environment, and the European environment. The Business Environment module can be taken as a stand-alone module or as a 10 credit module on the Pathway to Business Management.

The Business Environment is a 10 credit module on the Pathway to Business and Management programme.

Learning and teaching

Tutor-led classroom sessions, student-led seminars. There will be one Saturday school for study skills. Your learning and teaching for this module is underpinned by self-directed study.
