CU Optometrists Fund Raising

Red Nose Day 18th March 2011
We raised an amazing £237.66 for red nose day.

CHILDREN IN NEED - FRIDAY 19th NOV 2010
Staff at CU Optometrists raised £120.00 for Children In Need by dressing up in black & yellow and wearing a pair of "Pudsey's" ears!!
Frame suppliers also donated a selection of "designer" cases which went on sale and helped raise a fantastic £120.00
This money will help children experiencing poverty, deprivation or homelessness and children with learning, sensory or physical disabilities.
World Sight Day Challenge - THURSDAY 14th OCT 2010
Last year we raised £90 and almost doubled this years collection taking a whopping £170.00
Staff wore special T-shirts every Thursday in October to highlight the plight of people whose lives are blighted by poor eyesight. Patients & students made generous contributions towards this cause.
