Research Overview

Glaucoma is an eye disease that affects millions of people worldwide. It is characterised by changes at the optic nerve head (ONH) and corresponding, irreversible loss of vision. My research involves investigating the structural changes that occur at the back of the eye in order to better understand the glaucomatous disease process and to characterise ONH parameters that can be used to identify eyes more at risk of glaucomatous development.
