I am module leader for the Investigative Techniques course which is taught to 2nd year optometry students. This course includes both lectures and practical sessions. My lectures are concerned with the slit lamp, direct and indirect ophthalmoscopy techniques, keratometry, gonioscopy, tonometry and digital imaging techniques. I also prepare and supervise the practical sessions. In addition to my lecturing post I also am accreditation manager for the Welsh Eyecare Initiative which involves educating optometrists throughout the Principality.
