Teaching
Over the years I have been involved in teaching a wide variety of clinical topics including: Abnormal Ocular Conditions, Occupational Vision, Colour Vision, Low Vision, Investigative Techniques , Binocular Vision, Contact lenses and Refraction. I am currently module leader for Abnormal Ocular Conditions.
Memberships And External Activity
My School administrative duties are varied and include being a member of the School Board, Research Committee and Teaching & Learning Committee.
I am a member of British Universities Committee of Optometry, Optometry Wales and Vision 2020 Eye Research Group.
My hobbies include tennis, skiing and walking. I am also a Truste and member of the Overseas Project and Education and Training Committee of Vision Aid Overseas , a charity that provides primary eyecare in Developing Countries. I have taken part in projects to Tanzania, The Gambia, Sierra Leone, Swaziland, Ghana and Ethiopia.
