Anthony Coxon

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Professor Anthony "Tony" Coxon, Honorary Professor in SOCSI, whom passed away on 7 February 2012 at the age of 74. Tony was diagnosed with a brain tumour late last year and passed away at Marie Curie Hospice, Penarth

He was Honorary Professor from 1 November 2009 but was previously employed at Cardiff from 1975 to 1989 and was Head of the Department of Sociology from 1979 to 1982, before moving to the University of Essex.
