Neuroscience meets the High Sheriff

Professor Jeremy Hall, Director of the NMHRI speaks at the Inauguration of Professor Heather Stevens CBE, as High Sheriff of South Glamorgan.

The Neuroscience and Mental Health Research Institute (NMHRI) were honoured to have the opportunity to present their work at the Inauguration of Professor Heather Stevens as High Sheriff of South Glamorgan.

Heather is a founding Trustee of The Waterloo Foundation, which has shown great support for the NMHRI, and she has a sustained interest in child development and mental health.

Professor Jeremy Hall, Director of the NMHRI was invited to give a presentation on the Research Institute and showcased the 'Hope for Neuroscience' film was for the first time publicly. 

Overall the evening was a great success with 200 guests enjoying the environment of the Haydn Ellis Building, the pageantry and the entertainment on offer.
 
We at the NMHRI wish Heather every success with her year as High Sheriff.
