UKKMbF15 - UK Knowledge Mobilisation Forum 2015

16 April 2015

Members of the CUREMeDE team attended the UK Knowledge Mobilisation Forum in Edinburgh in early April.

The event, which took place over two days, was aimed at people from all sectors who are interested in getting research evidence and knowledge into everyday practice and increasing research impact.

Alison Bullock led a 60 minute round table discussion entitled 'thinking about impact measures'. The group of 10 engaged in lively debate about how we judge the success of knowledge mobilisation activity and what makes a knowledge broker feel they've done a good job? She used various trigger materials to challenge and inform the discussion. Alison also led a chaired poster walk at the event.

Feedback from the event has been very positive with many people commenting that the chaired poster walks and round tables were the best part of the event.
