Ministers visit energy positive house

On 28 June 2018, the Energy Minister Claire Perry and Secretary of State for Wales Alun Cairns visited the SOLCER house project.
They recognised the significance of the research in relation to government policy and offered support in looking for further funding for this area of work.
This work is based on the WEFO Low Carbon Built Environment programme. It includes new buildings that generate more energy than they use and it has attracted interest from industry and government.
