School of Law and Politics celebrate Class of 2018

School of Law and Politics staff, family members and friends gathered this July to celebrate the achievements of the graduating Class of 2018.

This year’s graduation ceremony was held on 16 July at St David’s Hall, Cardiff and was accompanied by a reception in the grounds of the University’s Main Building.

Approximately 900 people attended the School’s graduation - Politics and IR students graduated in the morning and Law students graduated in the afternoon. In between the ceremonies guests were invited to a reception where they enjoyed prosecco, canapés and celebration cupcakes while they mingled with staff and celebrated students’ achievements

Head of School Professor René Lindstädt welcomed the guests to Cardiff and congratulated all graduates for their hard work during the years that they had studied at the School.

Following his speech, Professor Lindstädt went on to present a number of prizes to students who had been recognised within a variety of areas. They were as follows:
