Two Central Square ready for September enrolment
5 July 2018
This September the School of Journalism, Media and Culture will open the doors of its new home for the first time.
All students enrolling this autumn will do so at Two Central Square and a new look timetable will allocate lectures and seminars to rooms in the new building.
The new location, alongside BBC Cymru/Wales and Trinity Mirror, will help the School expand upon its existing links with local and national media companies, helping to support placement opportunities and improve student employability.
"All our students will benefit from the new lecture theatres, seminar rooms and study spaces while postgraduate students will also benefit from an expansion of production facilities" said Professor Richard Sambrook, Director of the School's Centre for Journalism.
"As well as six newsrooms and numerous video editing suites, we will now have two TV studios and two radio studios, which will greatly enhance our ability to offer a leading-edge production experience.”
