Science funfair coming to DEPOT Cardiff

The third annual MRC Festival of Medical Research will take place from 14–24 June 2018.
The MRC Festival takes place in England, Scotland and Wales, online and in Africa where a wide range of free public activities involving scientists from research establishments, including MRC units, centres and institutes, showcase MRC-funded research.
In Cardiff, you can join us for all the fun of the fair as we host a science-themed funfair at the DEPOT.
At this new and exciting event, you'll see we've adapted some traditional amusements to reflect our areas of research, including Hook-a-duck, Play Your Genetic Cards Right, mini-golf and giant Jenga.
There are prizes to be won, amazing street food and the opportunity to speak to the team about our research and how you can get involved.
In the Speakeasy, you can hear some of our scientists present their latest research in an insightful and engaging way. Don't worry, we avoid death by PowerPoint and you won't need to be a scientist yourself to enjoy them!
